Description
Two large, green-covered rock formations rise out of the calm ocean waters, with vibrant pink and white wildflowers blooming in the foreground. A bird soars gracefully through the sky, adding a sense of tranquility to the coastal landscape.
We went to Sisters Rock State Park in Oregon. It didn't look like much. We thought a couple hours and we'll see everything. We spent many hours there. And went back the next day!! The tide was coming in but my husband went around some rocks anyway. I was too chicken! When he came back he said it looked like there was an arch. So we found out when low tide would be for the next day so that we could check it out. And there were actually two arches and a cave! There was also so much sea life like starfish, mussels, barnacles and different types of seaweed. There were even pink rocks with all this sea life!
We knew we had to be careful of the timing because once the tide comes in there was one section that could be difficult to get around if we were too late. And we barely made it!!! Our feet got a little wet, but that was it, so we were very lucky!
Because of my love for animals, I'm vegetarian (almost vegan!), and a portion of all sales will be donated to Sanctuary One Care Farm at SanctuaryOne.org. A picturesque way to support animal rescue.
