It was just a regular day taking my dog to Lone Ranch Beach in Oregon, one of my favorite beaches. Wandering down the beach at low tide I noticed all these starfish on the rocks. There were hundreds if not thousands of barnacles above the starfish and all you could see below was cleaned rock. So it turned out to be an amazing day watching hundreds of orange and purple starfish cleaning the rocks of barnacles and mussels! Look closer and you can see many more.

When I photograph wildlife I do not touch them and I try not to disturb them so this is how they were.
