Description
It was a beautiful clear and sunny morning in early October at the Maroon Bells in Colorado. It's such a great time to go in the Fall with all the color of the aspen trees. When we headed out for our hike some clouds were starting to roll in. Then it started to snow very lightly and we were wondering if we should turn around. Then the snow would stop. So we continued.
I'm always amazed how quiet and peaceful it gets when it snows. The snow started and stopped a few times and each time we seriously thought about turning around, especially when the visibility got bad and everyone was coming down the hill!! But then the snow would slow down and we would continue. At one point we even hung out under some trees with another couple to wait for the snow to, hopefully, slow down. Luckily it did!!
A portion of all sales will be donated to Sanctuary One.org. A picturesque way to support animal rescue.

Good Tuesday morning to a sweet young lady with a heart of gold and a stupendous artistic talent. I thought I'd better stop by your lovely gallery to see what's shakin'. I love what I see. Your gallery is sheer delight, my lady. glad to see you had a chance to come by our neck of the woods and photograph this world-famous iconic Maroon Bells. I hope you get a chance to come by again 'n again. Colorado has been blessed with 54 mountains higher than 14,000 feet, which we call FOURTEENERS and more than 630 summits higher than 13,000 feet, which we call THIRTEENERS.

Thank you so much!! We try to go to Colorado every year sine we have family there. This year we went to Rocky Mountain National Park and did some hikes. What an amazing state Colorado is.
