WOW! Can you see the people under the tree?! We went on vacation and we were going to head to the mountains but the forecast was snow in the mountains. Since we don't like to drive the RV in snow, we decided to head to the coast. After doing some research we found that there was going to be a King Tide in about a week. We figured that it was getting pretty high now and we just love Shore Acres. It's known for incredible waves crashing on the rocks sometimes as high as 300 feet! Well, it did not disappoint. These were the biggest waves we've ever seen!
It was hard to take photos because the spray from the waves. Even though I had poncho rain gear on to cover me and my camera, I still had to run behind some bushes after taking the photo because the spray was so heavy. It really is amazing to see the waves so high, coming right at you and feel the rumble. An experience I'll never forget and I may have to go back for more!
Because of my love for animals, a portion of all sales will be donated to Sanctuary One.org. A picturesque way to support animal rescue.

Thank you!! I had such a wonderful time taking these photos. An experience I'll never forget! In fact, we went back recently during the King Tide, but since there were no storms off shore, there were not these incredible waves.... it's all about timing.
